Use Wristwatch to slow down time and understand how boss patterns work. Wristwatch is a potent offensive tool as well as a defensive one. Slow down time when an enemy leaves an opening and hit them with more spells than you normally can! Multi-hit spells continue to fire at their normal speed when Wristwatch's effect is activated, but their projectiles are significantly slowed. Use this to accurately stack your multi-hit spells onto your target of choice. Due to the aforementioned interaction between Wristwatch and multi-hit attacks, spells like Sludge Bomb and Super Minnie Gun have good synergy with this loadout. Picking up Spell Power can also significantly boost the power of your starting Minnie Gun and Whirl. Trinity Decks are a good match for Chrono Saffron - Wristwatch helps her line up Tri Rag and Tri Shot, and she also starts with a Minnie Gun.

Has a Shuffle time of 1.5 seconds, faster than the default 2.5 seconds. As Solo Saffron's only starting spell is Ragnarok, focusing Doublelift for Switchbait can easily let you rack up major damage with low effort. Soul Food's effect can be triggered by killing a hostage shortly after they give you their reward (after they have been 'saved'). It is possible to double dip on hostage rewards this way. On Hell Mode 11 this artifact acts as free max health and healing whenever an Evil hostage is encountered. Due to the general scarcity of maximum health upgrades early in Hell Mode 14, Genocide Saffron is one of the more consistent loadouts to beat Hell Mode 14 with.

• Within HeroesExtra.xml an alternative outfit called "Saffron Shanghai" is mentioned, meant to be unlocked with Back To The Past achievement.
