Upgrades, otherwise known as enhancements, can be obtained by using Upgrader.pngUpgraders on spells. Spells can also occasionally drop pre-upgraded, with up to 2 upgrades. Upgrading a spell gives you a choice of three unique upgrades to apply. Each upgrade on a specific spell costs 1 Upgrader, plus an additional Upgrader for every existing upgrade. There is no cap on upgrades.

For spells with a base mana cost of 3 or more, the cost is increased by 2 mana. Otherwise the costs increases by 1 mana.
